The East Side Hotel is a first-class hotel located in a great, convenient location near the Kreuzberg and Friedrischshain districts of Berlin. It overlooks the the Famous East Side Gallery (one of the few remaining sections of the Berlin Wall and the Oberbaum Bridge over the Spree River. This neighborhood is the heart of Berlin's "Kiez-Live", with its cafés, ethnic restaurants and small bars. The East Side hotel is especially convenient to public transport, with bus, tram, underground and surface trains stopping nearby. Guests should be able to access the entire city quite easily from this location. The guest rooms are very well appointed with a contemporary décor and modern furnishings. Single occupancy rooms overlook the East Side Gallery. The nightly rate includes an a la carte breakfast in the hotel restaurant, not just a simple continental breakfast. From Tegel Airport: Take bus 9 or 109 to the Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten. Then take the tram direction Ahrensfelde, Wartenberg, Strausberg, Erkner, Grunau to the Bahnhof Warschauer Strasse. Take the next street on the left to the intersection. Muehlenstrase will be on the right.
